John P. Lundgren, DDS, MS
Meet Dr. Lundgren
A board certified Endodontist, Dr. John Lundgren was born and raised in Montevideo, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Notre Dame, and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. Upon graduation he was commissioned as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy. He completed his residency in Endodontics at the National Naval Medical Center and National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Md.. He earned a Masters of Science from George Washington University. A diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, he has also been active in a variety of dental organizations including: American Association of Endodontists, American Board of Endodontics College of Diplomates, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Northeast Florida Dental Society and the Jacksonville Dental Society.
Dr. Lundgren devoted 20 years of his life to his country while serving in the United States Navy. As a retired U.S. Navy Captain he has passionately devoted his professional career to all aspects of Endodontics. He has incorporated state of the art equipment and the newest treatment techniques into his Endodontic practice. To keep abreast of the latest developments in Endodontics, he has always exceeded the continuing education requirements of Florida,
Dr. Lundgren is married to his beautiful wife Sonya. They have three kids who they love dearly. Alexandra (Alex) graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and is currently a Naval Flight Officer with a P-8 squadron. Their son Jack is following his big sister to the U.S. Naval Academy and is a linebacker on the football team. J.C. is the youngest and he loves school, all sports and his dog Roxy.
Dr. Lundgren, a former Notre Dame All-American golfer, has since transferred those championship skills to Endodontics, and looks forward to helping you.
